Workplace comfort

Inclusive workplaces

An inclusive space serves everyone, not just the boardroom. We work on three fronts: universal accessibility, neurodiversity and care. Accessibility measures comply with the NTE INEN standards.

Is this your case?

  • “A colleague who uses a wheelchair cannot reach the meeting room on her own.”
  • “Some people on the team need to lower stimulation and have nowhere to go.”
  • “Mothers returning to work do not have a proper lactation room.”
  • “Daylight and rest areas are reserved for the executive offices.”

How it works

  1. Barrier-free routes

We review routes, toilets, doors and signage against the NTE INEN accessibility standards. We look for colour contrast on edges and steps.

  2. Universal accessibility

Doors with at least 90 cm of clear width and lever handles. A section of the reception counter at 75–85 cm, to serve seated visitors.

  3. Neurodiversity

We design low-stimulation zones with choices of light and sound. Vital Refuges serve anyone who needs to lower stimulation.

  4. Care

A lactation room, a rest space, water and daylight for the whole team. Not only for the boardroom.

Frequently asked questions

Which accessibility standard do you apply?

The NTE INEN accessibility standards in force in Ecuador. Our reference measurements are adjusted to them and to the use of each project.

What is a low-stimulation zone?

It is a space with less noise, less traffic and choices of light. It serves neurodivergent people and anyone who needs to lower stimulation.

How wide should an accessible door be?

We start from at least 90 cm of clear width, with lever handles. The final measurement follows the NTE INEN accessibility standards.

What does care include?

A lactation room, a rest space, access to water and daylight. All designed for the whole team, not only for the boardroom.
