wherethe idea was born
the question
It all starts with a question: what does a space that underperforms cost a company?
Light, noise, air and temperature shape how a team works, yet almost nobody measures them. Escala Humana was founded to measure them: a neuroarchitecture and corporate performance consultancy in Quito.
howwe measure before we give an opinion
the method
Five phases, always in the same order: measure, understand, design, build and evolve.
We start with a Workplace Performance Audit: sensors, real use and surveys. Every design decision then rests on a baseline your board can measure again.

design that is measured again
We design workplaces by ways of working, with Ecuadorian biomaterials such as totora and one accountable lead for the works.
After opening, we measure again: the ROSE method links what is invested in the space to the indicators your board already tracks.

what sets us apart
Beyond design, Escala Humana measures what it proposes and answers for it.
measurement
No figure is published without a source or our own measurement. Every project starts from a baseline and is measured again.
